We are currently recruiting for an Account Director to manage a hard-services FM provision at an acute hospital in Liverpool.  Managing the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for all commercial, contractual, and operational service delivery.  Working closely with the Senior Technical Services Manager who will deliver the day-to-day operations, the Account Director will be focused on the opportunities and risks within the contract around customer relationships, commercial performance, P+L, Lifecycle and project delivery.

We are looking for someone who will take ownership of the contract, a strong leader who can re-structure processes as required to enable the contract to become self-sufficient as a business unit.

Duties of the role include:

  • Managing the senior leadership team.
  • Responsible for full P+L across the account.
  • Focusing on service delivery to improve contract performance.
  • Working closely with the customer to build stronger relationships.
  • Re-building processes and procedures to improve contract performance.
  • Manage risk including SHEQ as well as HTM related risks.
  • Creating a customer engagement plan.
  • Strategic leadership of the contract as well as creating a supportive and driven team culture.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in an Estates Leadership role in an acute hospital.
  • Experience and understanding of PFI and its pay mechs.
  • Strong commercial/financial skills.
  • Strong leadership skills to drive performance and culture.
  • Proactive with ability to take ownership of the contract.
  • Proven experience improving customer relationships.
