Graduate Application Engineer / Junior Application Engineer / Technical Sales Support Engineer required to join a leading Air Filtration manufacturer.



The successful Graduate Application Engineer / Junior Application Engineer / Technical Sales Support Engineer will be office-based, providing customers and engineers with telephone technical support as well as offering and providing quotations, services, and products within the Air Filtration or HVAC industry.



The successful Graduate Application Engineer / Junior Application Engineer / Technical Sales Support Engineer will ideally have experience in a technical customer support role within engineering, and motivation to succeed and grow with a global manufacturer.


Graduate Application Engineer / Junior Application Engineer / Technical Sales Support Engineer Role

• Office-based, providing customers and engineers with telephone technical support as well as offering and providing quotations, services, and products within the Air Movement industry.
• Provide customers and engineers with technical support on a variety of Air Filtration, Air distribution, HVAC, and associated products. 
• Liaise with customers to identify specifications/requirements and offer technical solutions.
• Responsible for answering technical enquiries about various Air Movement products, including installations, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
• Provide customers with cost estimates, tenders, proposals, and quotations.

• Working closely with the Service & Sales Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.

• Liaise with various engineering departments.

 

Graduate Application Engineer / Junior Application Engineer / Graduate Technical Support Engineer Requirements

• Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable air filtration manufacturer.
• An Engineering degree would be advantageous e.g Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering, Chemical Engineering.
• Technical aptitude and / or understanding of mechanical engineering systems. Full product training provided. 
• Ability to handle technical mechanical engineering application issues.
• Experience as an Applications Engineer, Proposals Engineer, Internal Sales Engineer, Technical Advisor, Technical Support Engineer, Technical Sales Support or similar.
• Service Engineers with Air Filtration and / or rotating equipment experience looking to come off the tools would also be of interest.
• A technical engineering qualification would be advantageous.
• Knowledge or experience within HVAC would be advantageous.
• Commutable to Colchester
