Job Description

Job Title: Area Housing Manager
Contract: Temporary (3 months), potential for extension
Rate: £31 - £33.50 per hour (via umbrella)
Location: Nottingham

Role Purpose:
Our client is seeking an experienced Area Housing Manager to lead an operational area team, providing excellent tenancy and estate management services that meet the diverse needs of tenants and leaseholders.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and motivate the team to deliver outstanding customer-focused services.
Manage team performance, providing feedback, coaching, and training.
Support the City Housing Manager in service improvements and risk mitigation.
Handle enquiries from elected members and manage casework.
Monitor and manage area budgets effectively.
Proactively address anti-social behaviour and resolve customer complaints.
Contribute to the development and implementation of team plans.
Respond to emergency incidents as needed.
Promote tenant and leaseholder involvement and community cohesion.
Represent the housing service at various meetings and events.
Ensure compliance with legal and statutory requirements.
