Job Description

We are seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to join a large residential complex in Elephant & Castle. This is an ideal role for someone who posses a hands on approach and thrives in a problem solving environment.

Hours of work: 09:00amto 5:00pm Mon to Fri

Salary: £45,000

Location: Elephant & Castle

Issue all relevant work permits and review RAMS and other risk statements from contractors.
Deliver Tool Box talks when appropriate and support the operations team in delivering all services to the highest standard.
Instruct reactive repairs and ensure all relevant paperwork is in place prior to any works commencing on site.
Ensure that all reports, logs, service reports, maintenance reports are adequately recorded and all records are updated.
Liaise with the stakeholders to ensure they're updated on any disruption at the development.
Oversee Health & Safety and Fire Risk documentation and ensure this is reported correctly.
Manage the fire door checks and remedial works for all front doors to homes and the communal areas. Keeping records of all tasks required to comply with the Building Safety Act.
Update your line manager to ensure that all relevant risks are reported.
Ensure the suppliers are performance managed and all service lines are regularly tendered.
Comply with JBS HV & LV Electrical Safety Rules
Ensure you obtain "full life cycle" from mechanical & electrical equipment.
