The difference you will make as a M365 DevOps Associate Engineer

The role holder will take responsibility, have a passion for technology, see technical debt as their nemesis and be capable of self-improvement along the way. The role will provide technical support and development of the Riverside Microsoft Office 365 solutions, with a focus on Messaging (Exchange Online), Communication (Teams), Collaboration (SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business), Endpoint (Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Intune) and Office 365 Apps

About you

You will have experience in:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience working with Cloud specific solutions
  • Good understanding of cloud computing technologies and/or On Premise deployment experience

Role Profile

Accountabilities or “What You Have to Do” 

  • Maintain and monitor Office 365 services
  • Administer and support Office 365 policies and groups
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with user access to Microsoft 365 services
  • User Administration (Active Directory, Azure, Workday and LDAP)
  • Follow a consistent process for incident and problem resolution
  • Work to SLA thresholds for incident(s), request(s) and problem(s)
  • Prioritising and managing several open cases one time
  • Keep up to date with advancements in technology
  • Work in close collaboration with other technical functions
  • Maintain technical documentation on the Microsoft 365 services and related procedures and operations
  • Participate in 24x7 On-Call rotation
  • Ensure thorough technical delivery of Cloud based solutions across a large enterprise
  • Identify and drive continual service improvement, using security by design principals
  • Perform other duties as required

Knowledge, Skills and Experience 

Essential

  • At least 1-2 years of experience working with Cloud specific solutions
  • Good understanding of cloud computing technologies and/or On Premise deployment experience, with demonstrated hands-on experience on one or more of the following domains:
    • Messaging: Exchange OnPrem, Exchange Online, and Exchange Hybrid
    • Collaboration: Teams, SharePoint Service, SharePoint Online
    • Device Management: SCCM and InTune
    • Security: Advanced Threat Protection, Secure Score, and Malware protection
    • Compliance: Litigation hold, retention, and discovery
    • Experience analysing, troubleshooting, and providing solutions for technical issues
    • Effective customer-facing and presentation skills

Desirable

  • Certification in Microsoft and/or competing Cloud Technologies strongly preferred. Can include MSCE in Cloud Platform and Infrastructure, Core Infrastructure, Mobility or Productivity
  • Proven history of customer-obsession, including blog posts, how-to videos, etc
  • Familiar with DevOps, ITIL and continuous improvement processes
