  • Adjust/align sensors and pneumatic systems
  • Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical issues with the shaking wall and ATR shuttles

Our client, a leading organisation in the warehousing industry, is seeking a talented and experienced ATR Engineer to join their team. If you have a strong background in manufacturing, robotics, mechatronics, and hardware support engineering, this opportunity is for you!

As an ATR Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the deployment and optimisation of our client's ATR System. This innovative system consists of a rail-mounted pick/place mechatronic system and a pneumatic "Shaking Wall" system, designed to facilitate the efficient movement of items within the warehouse.

Your main responsibilities will revolve around adjusting and maintaining the various components of the ATR System. You will be tasked with aligning sensors, adjusting pneumatic systems (valves/flow restrictors), and fine-tuning guide rails and pneumatic cylinders. Additionally, you will work with HMIs to adjust the location of the Pick & Place mechanism, ensuring smooth and precise operation.

A keen eye for detail is essential, as you will be conducting thorough inspections to identify any mechanical issues or defects with the shaking wall and ATR shuttles. By making necessary adjustments and repairs, you will help optimise the performance of the system, ultimately reducing machine fault count and downtime.

To excel in this role, you should have hands-on experience in the deployment, commissioning, and fault finding of automated machinery. Your expertise in the adjustment and alignment of sensors, pneumatic systems, and mechanical components will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the ATR System.

This is a temporary position, offering competitive daily rates and the opportunity to work on an exciting project. If you are a proactive, resourceful, and technically skilled individual with a passion for automation, we want to hear from you!

Join our client's team and be at the forefront of innovation in the warehousing industry. Apply now and take your career to new heights!
