Role Overview:
You will primarily be working on a greenfield project where you will be a key player from design through to implementation - but also supporting existing services from the parent organisation. Day to day, you will collaborate with the UK-based backend team to design and construct modern backend systems. You will benefit from unwavering support not only from our backend team but also from our entire software department. They are looking for a team player who wants to work in an innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Private Cloud Creation:
Take a lead role in building a private cloud environment tailored to our SaaS needs.
AWS-Based Solutions:
Design and implement cloud solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS). Utilize infrastructure as code (IaC) principles with AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK). Set up ECS clusters, Lambdas, and other AWS services to ensure robustness, scalability, and security.
Management and Monitoring:
Develop, provide guidance on, and troubleshoot management and monitoring processes for cloud-based workloads.
Resource Management:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to efficiently manage cloud resources. Optimize costs while maintaining performance and availability.
CI/CD Pipeline Enhancement:
Work closely with development teams to enhance continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines across various platforms.
