Job Description

DUTIES -

  • Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to recipes and customer demand.
  • Ensure all baked goods are prepared to the highest quality standards.
  • Follow established recipes and formulas accurately.
  • Measure and mix ingredients to form dough or batter, following recipes.
  • Monitor baking process to identify any deviations from quality standards.
  • Inspect products for quality and consistency.
  • Ensure all baking equipment and tools are cleaned and maintained regularly.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage practices.

EXPERIENCE - 

  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques and processes.
  • Food production experience requried.
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

HEALTH AND SAFEFY - 

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift heavy bags of flour, sugar, and other baking ingredients.
  • Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
