Business Development Manager / Sales Manager / Sales Engineer required to join a manufacturer of complex integrated systems, industrial computing and IoT remote monitoring devices.
We’re looking for a Business Development Manager / Sales Manager to develop integrated solutions within the Energy market (including Oil & Gas, Wind and marine services & ocean technology). This would include ROV / Unmanned Surface Vehicles applications & management, Oil & Gas service businesses, seabed sensing, marine surveying, subsea assets, oil rig management, Downhole Technology, remote monitoring and measurement equipment, sonar systems, survey equipment, etc.
Role
Selling integrated solutions into the Energy sector, which includes Oil & Gas, Wind and marine services & ocean technology
Applications include ROV / Unmanned Surface Vehicles applications & management, Oil & Gas service businesses, sea bed sensing, marine surveying, subsea assets, oil rig management, Downhole Technology, remote monitoring and measurement equipment, sonar systems, survey equipment, etc.
Working from home, covering UK wide
New business development and account management
Reporting to the Sales Director
Engage in a balanced mix of opportunity nurturing and relationship building activities
Actively identify and engage in networking opportunities at industry events to meet
potential and targeted prospects
Working with the bid team, complete professional sales quotations/proposals
Liaise with various engineering departments
Requirements
Proven experience as a Business Development Manager / Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Sales Executive or similar
Proven sales experience within Energy, Oil & Gas, Wind or marine services / ocean technology
A background in ROV / Unmanned Surface Vehicles applications & management, Oil & Gas service businesses, sea bed sensing, marine surveying, subsea assets, oil rig management, Downhole Technology, remote monitoring and measurement equipment, sonar systems, survey equipment, etc would be advantageous

£70,000 - £75,000 depending on experience

Commission based on % of profit
