They are looking for a proactive and organized Business Support Officer to join their Damp and Mould Office and play a crucial role in supporting their mission.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administrative Support: Manage office correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and letters. Maintain accurate records and files, both digital and physical.
* Resident Liaison: Serve as the first point of contact for residents reporting damp and mould issues. Provide timely and courteous responses, and escalate concerns to the appropriate teams.
* Data Management: Collect, organise, and analyse data related to damp and mould cases. Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
* Project Coordination: Assist in planning and coordinating projects aimed at addressing and preventing damp and mould issues. Monitor project time lines and ensure deadlines are met.
* Team Support: Provide administrative support to the Damp and Mould team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
* Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations. Assist in audits and reviews as needed.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development and implementation of new strategies to enhance our services.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in an administrative or business support role, preferably within a housing or property management environment.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with data management systems.
* Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
