Job Description

Caseworker

Salary: £25,200 per annum (pro-rata) + Benefits - Successful candidates are subject to our Development Progression Scale, as well as annual salary reviews

Working Pattern - Full-time or Part-time (flexible working pattern available)

Covering Avon & Somerset- Regular travel required across multiple sites so Full UK Driving Licence & Access to own vehicle is essential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a comprehensive community-based debt advice service to people on probation or leaving custody.

What you will be doing?

  • Delivering 1:2:1 face to face and remote (Phone and MSTeams) services to service users
  • Delivering a suite of workshops to individuals and/or groups of Service Users
  • Preparing & agreeing individual action plans
  • Providing specialist finance, benefit and debt casework, maintaining professional advice standards in line with the Financial Conduct Authority

To be successful you will require:

  • Experience of working with vulnerable/challenging people, for example people who have complex needs
  • Case Management experience (i.e dealing with multiple people, managing their expectations)
  • The ability to deliver short and tailored interventions to address barriers within a given timeframe
