Job Description

 

 Amazing opportunity for a Clinic Nurse to work for a leading independent provider of Ophthalmic services in Exeter. Working 4 days a week 7:30am - 5:30pm with a salary up to £37,336 and excellent benefits.

The shift pattern is full-time 4 days per week, working 7:30 am - 5:30 pm, meaning no evenings and only 1 in 4 saturdays. You don't need Ophthalmic experience as full training is provided.

If you were already in this Ophthalmic Nurse role, here are some of the areas you would have been working in this week:

  • Administering drugs in accordance with the NMC guidelines for the safe and secure handling of medicines
  • Undertaking all care for patients whilst in the hospital, including diagnostic tests and post-operative care
  • Assisting with stock control, ensuring realistic par levels are maintained and all items are readily available
  • Providing support and mentorship to colleagues and new staff.

Criteria for this nursing job include:

  • Current NMC registration
  • 12 months post-registration experience
  • Passionate about developing a career in Ophthalmology
  • A current NMC registered.
