Job Description

I'm looking for a Data Engineer with experience working across SQL Server, Python, and ideally some Azure services to join a London-based events organisation. This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days in the office and 3 days at home per week.

You will be joining their growing Data and Analytics team, who have been re-building and enhancing their Customer Data Platform in partnership with a well-renowned tech consultancy, to deliver better value and insights to various internal teams such as Commercial, Marketing, Digital etc.

To do this, you will leverage SQL, Python, Azure Cloud Services (e.g. Azure Data Factory) and Snowflake (though please note that prior experience with Snowflake is not a requirement). Their front-end reporting is in Power BI, which you may also have the opportunity to get involved in, though this is not a requirement.

This role would be well-suited to a Data Engineer who is looking to take that next-step in their career, with an organisation who are committed to utilising the latest cutting-edge technologies - with data now at the forefront of their every day operations, now couldn't be a better time to get involved!

Requirements:

  • SQL & T-SQL skills - including creating complex queries, views, stored procedures etc.
  • Python scripting skills
  • Azure Data Factory experience - building data pipelines
  • Any knowledge of Snowflake would be beneficial but not essential
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, at all levels

Benefits:

  • Salary up to £65,000 depending on experience
  • Discretionary bonus
  • 25 days holiday plus additional "shut down" periods across the year
  • Private medical
  • Wellbeing allowance
  • Life insurance
  • Pension

Please Note: This is role for UK residents only. This role does not offer Sponsorship. You must have the right to work in the UK with no restrictions. Some of our roles may be subject to successful background checks including a DBS and Credit Check.

Nigel Frank are the go-to recruiter for Power BI and Azure Data Platform roles in the UK, offering more opportunities across the country than any other.
