Job Description: They are seeking a talented Estimator to join the team. The Estimator will play a crucial role in our operations by accurately estimating project costs, preparing detailed drawings by hand, and determining scheduling rates. While previous experience in estimating is essential, they provide comprehensive training to familiarize you with specific sectors and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed and accurate hand-drawn project drawings.
• Calculate and estimate the cost of projects, including materials, labor, and other expenses.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and determine appropriate scheduling rates.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to gather necessary information for accurate estimations.
• Review and analyze project specifications and requirements.
• Communicate effectively with clients and suppliers to obtain necessary quotations and pricing information.
• Ensure all estimates are completed on time and within budget constraints.
• Maintain organized and detailed records of all estimation activities and project documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals and bids for new projects.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction or installation industry.
• Strong proficiency in hand-drawing project plans and diagrams.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in estimating project costs.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with specific installation contracting projects.
• Familiarity with industry-specific estimation software.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
