Field Service Engineer / Service Technician / Dental Engineer required to join a leading dental equipment supplier that specialises in service, installations, sales, design and refurbishments.
The successful Field Service Engineer / Service Technician / Dental Engineer shall undertake planned and preventative maintenance of electro mechanical dental equipment such as compressors, vacuum pumps, autoclaves, X-Ray machinery, dental chairs, milling machines, sensors, digital dental systems & more.
The Field Service Engineer / Service Technician / Dental Engineer will ideally have experience diagnosing and repairing electrical, electronic, electromechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic and / or dental engineering equipment. Full product training provided.
Field Service Engineer / Service Technician / Dental Engineer Role
Delivery, installation and validation of new dental equipment
Undertake planned and preventative maintenance & refurbishment of dental equipment such as compressors, vacuum pumps, chairs, autoclaves, X-Ray machinery, milling machines, sensors, medical equipment, digital dental systems and more.
Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various hydraulic, electronic, pneumatic, robotic and mechanical engineering dental equipment.
Carry out dental site surveys as required.
Managing your own spare parts van stock levels.
Providing technical assistance to customers, office staff and fellow dental engineers.
Assisting customers with advice in all areas of engineering, equipment performance and regulatory compliance.
Promotion of dental equipment sales and contract consolidation options available to the customer.
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Field Service Engineer / Service Technician / Dental Engineer Requirements
The ability in maintaining good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Service Technician, M&E Engineer, Electronics Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Installation Engineer, Dental Engineer, Dental Technicican, Medical Engineer or similar.
Experience within engineering installations and/or servicing of mechanical engineering equipment such as ompressors, vacuum pumps, autoclaves, X-Ray machinery, dental chairs, milling machines, sensors, medical equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics or similar electro mechanical products.
Ability to follow instructions, read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics and diagrams.
Good working knowledge of three phase electrics and controls is advantageous.
Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, hydraulic, electronic, pneumatic, robotic and / or mechanical engineering equipment. Full product training provided.
You will be home based covering regions within the South / South West of the UK depending on your location. Willingness to travel.
A technical mechanical / electrical / electronic / instrumentation qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.

£30,000-£35,000 depending on experience
