Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently partnered with a manufacturing/installations business in Doncaster who are looking for a HSE Coordinator to join their business. 

The business have experienced exponential growth over the last couple of years and are fully committed to safety at all levels. Currently turning over £25 million, this is an exiting opportunity to work with a business that values its employees and offers development opportunities across the business.

Duties & responsibilities include:

  • Update health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines in accordance with local, state, and national regulations as well as industry best practices.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standard. ·
  • Conduct HSE Audit inspections across site and manage corrective actions accordingly.
  • Lead the creation of the HSE training and provide evidence of competency and learnings across the business
  • To work in a way that engages with employees at all levels in maintaining and improving Health and Safety standards.
  • To assist in the development of procedures that take into account legislation and best practice.
  • The assessment of risk and the implementation of suitable control and improvement activities to reduce any identified risks, including general risk assessments, manual handling, fire
  • The investigation of accidents, incidents and near misses, working with those involved to develop improvements to prevent reoccurrences.
  • Liaise with external agencies and internal support functions, such as Occupational Health.
  • Involvement in the Health and Safety committee, actively promoting awareness of health and safety issues.

I'm keen to speak to HSE Coordinators with the following skillset:

  • Safety experience in a manufacturing/installation/engineering environment
  • NEBOSH or working towards
  • Strong communication skills
  • Previous experience auditing and delivering training
