Job Description

A member of the Infrastructure & Support Services responsible for assisting with maintenance and support of key IT infrastructure services.

  • Monitor and assist in the maintenance of the IT infrastructure to ensure continued service delivery.
  • Support the implementation of solutions to IT infrastructure and application problems engaging with 3rd party support where required.
  • Assist with the design and testing of disaster recovery procedures for IT infrastructure services
  • Understand the requirements of the business and help to develop options to provide optimum solutions and technology enhances
  • Assist with approved projects to deliver appropriate solutions to the business
  • Upskill and transfer knowledge to 1st and 2nd line support teams when transitioning projects into operational support
  • Provide 3rd line support to the IT Service Desk
  • Create and maintain up-to-date documentation and controls in relation to infrastructure systems
  • Responsible for taking reasonable duty of care for Health & Safety of themselves and of other persons who may be affected by their acts or omissions at work and always follow direct instructions given with regards to Health & Safety.
