Job Description

A member of the Infrastructure & Support Services responsible for assisting with maintenance and support of key IT infrastructure services.

Monitor and assist in the maintenance of the IT infrastructure to ensure continued service delivery.
Support the implementation of solutions to IT infrastructure and application problems engaging with 3rd party support where required.
Assist with the design and testing of disaster recovery procedures for IT infrastructure services
Understand the requirements of the business and help to develop options to provide optimum solutions and technology enhances
Assist with approved projects to deliver appropriate solutions to the business
Upskill and transfer knowledge to 1st and 2nd line support teams when transitioning projects into operational support
Provide 3rd line support to the IT Service Desk
Create and maintain up-to-date documentation and controls in relation to infrastructure systems
Responsible for taking reasonable duty of care for Health & Safety of themselves and of other persons who may be affected by their acts or omissions at work and always follow direct instructions given with regards to Health & Safety.
