Job Description

Installation Engineer / Fitter / Service Engineer required to join a leading Pump manufacturer.

The Successful Installation Engineer / Fitter / Service Engineer will provide installations of pumping station equipment to a high standard in line with the supplied drawings at customer sites, supporting a service team when required, across Colchester and surrounding areas.

The Installation Engineer / Fitter / Service Engineer will ideally have an engineering background in Filtration, hydraulics, valves, pumps, pump systems, motors, rotating equipment or similar fluid power / mechanical engineering products full product training is provided.

Installation Engineer / Fitter / Service Engineer Role
Be responsible for installations of pumping station equipment to a high standard in line with supplied drawings.
To provide mechanical repair, service and commissioning of industrial pump, pipework, and ancillary
equipment at customer sites UK-wide.
To investigate and rectify site issues identified during routine and emergency attendances to customers' sites.
Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various pumping equipment.
Install all types of pumps and associated pipework and ancillary equipment.
Field-based position plus occasional site work in Camberley.
Liaise with various engineering departments.

Installation Engineer / Fitter / Service Engineer Requirements
Proven diagnostic skills in complicated mechanical engineering pump systems. and / or Sewage pumps is beneficial
Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Installation Engineer, fitter, fitters mate, Pump Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, M&E Engineer, Electro-Mechanical Engineer or similar.
will ideally have an engineering background in Filtration, hydraulics, valves, pumps, pump systems, motors, rotating equipment or similar fluid power / mechanical engineering products.
An engineering qualification would be advantageous.
Full UK driver's licence, fully remote role with willingness to travel to the site in Camberley when required.
