Job Advert: Lead Practitioner - Adults Locality Team



Location: Barnet, London (Hybrid Working - 2 days in the office)



Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Lead and inspire a team of social workers and care professionals, providing guidance, support, and supervision to ensure the delivery of excellent services.
  • Case Management: Oversee complex cases, ensuring assessments, care planning, and reviews are conducted efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other teams, agencies, and stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to service delivery.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of services provided, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practices.
  • Professional Development: Promote continuous professional development within the team, fostering a culture of learning and improvement.
  • Safeguarding: Ensure robust safeguarding practices are in place, prioritizing the safety and well-being of adults in our care.


Essential Criteria:

  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
  • Extensive experience in adult social care, including managing complex cases.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory experience within a social care setting.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in adult social care.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of service delivery.
