Job Description

Are you looking to gain hands on experience in a well-resourced SEN school? Are you a recent graduate dreaming of becoming a future Psychologist?

A unique and friendly Special School in Witney are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to support and educate children with Autism, Learning Difficulties and Mental Health Challenges!

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for setting boundaries in the classroom and also making sure the pupils understand the value of education. You will help them understand their own emotional needs, and ensure they feel safe and supported in school. You will help manage any challenging behaviour that arises as a result of the student's needs, as well as providing pastoral support to students. Most importantly, you will set an example for all pupils and act as a positive role model.

Previous experience working with children or adults with additional needs would be beneficial - this could be professional or personal experience.
