Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a manufacturing company to recruit a Maintenance Team Leader to join their team in Holme on Spalding.

Salary - £54,900

Shift Pattern: 3-week rotating shift pattern including Days and Nights

Working hours:

  • Week 1 - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - 6am-6pm.
  • Week 2 - Monday, Tuesday - 6am-6pm, Wednesday, Thursday - 6pm-6am.
  • Week 3 - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday - 6pm-6am.
  • 7 days off

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Team Leader will lead and manage a team of engineering colleagues and will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling maintenance and engineering activities. 

Duties of the Maintenance Team Leader will include:

  • Supports and leads as directed the implementation of world-class maintenance methods
  • Leads Route Cause Analysis
  • Leads practical problem-solving to minimise downtime
  • Co-ordinate’s complex fault finding and escalate additional support requirements
  • Develops PM work orders and schedules for assets in CMMS
  • Develops calibration standards for critical assets
  • Improve maintenance and asset KPI's
  • Maintains spares and improves the life cycle of components
  • Ensures maintenance interventions on critical assets are bought off
  • Coordinate and Undertake equipment Risk Assessments and SOP's
  • Lead the use of dynamic risk assessments
  • Deputise for the maintenance manager out of hours to ensure planned and unplanned activities are conducted safely
  • Identify and implement safe working practices
  • Identify and implement risk reduction on equipment
  • Ensure statutory maintenance work orders are completed on time and feedback in CMMS

We would like to speak with Maintenance Team Leaders with the    following skills/experience:

  • HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Formal Health and Safety qualification
  • CIEH Level 3 Health & Safety
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (preferred)
  • Continuous Improvement experience
  • Supervisory experience
