Join our client as a Maintenance Technician and bring your expertise in maintaining and optimizing diverse building systems to ensure peak operational efficiency.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Bradford, BD4

Working Hours: 40 Hours (Within Office Hours)
Working Days: Monday to Friday (some weekends and Public Holidays included)
Salary: £35k

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:

. The Multiskilled Facilities Technician should adhere to standards, legal requirements, and safety protocols
. Support and execute Risk Assessments, Safety Walks, 5S audits, and Layered Audits
. Maintain safe, clean work areas and dispose of waste properly
. Escalate concerns about non-conforming activities, processes, utilities, and facilities
. As a Multiskilled Facilities Technician, you should update Work Instructions and implement lean processes and continuous improvement
. Consult on compliance issues and non-compliance matters
. Maintain facilities and standards at the Bradford Plant, including minor building works
. Arrange and manage external contractors, issuing Permits to Work
. Support installation and commissioning of new utilities and facilities
. Manage spare parts booking and PM notifications, including self-allocating tasks

External Requirements of the Maintenance Technician:

. 1+ years of experience in manufacturing/engineering.
. Effective communication skills.
. Proficiency in PC skills, including MS Office.
. Experience with ERP systems preferred.
. Plumbing skills (City & Guilds certified).
. Basic DIY skills such as stud wall construction and plastering.
