Job Description

Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fast growing and reputable Medical Group in the Doncaster area as they look to recruit an established Management Accountant to join their already fantastic team at their head office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in short term planning, budgets and costings including of new services 
  • Reporting against planning 
  • Preparation of the monthly management accounting position across all services
  • Liase with stakeholders to ensure all income due and committed spend for the period is accounted for 
  • Maintain balance sheet reconciliation and funding balances tightly 
  • Work with finance assistants and head of finance to monitor cash forecasts 
  • Year on year variance analysis 
  • Ledger maintenance, checking and verifying ledger posting's, make accrual's / prepayments and re-coding
  • Maintain deferred income and funding balances
  • Preparing regular financial statements including income due and committed spend, creating forecasts and financial planning tools 
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field would be desired 
  • Proven experience as an Assistant Accountant or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
