Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be recruiting for a global manufacturer based in Worksop, who are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join the team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background within manufacturing and NPI, to get involved in factory design and installation of new equipment.

As the Manufacturing Engineer you will:

• Primary focus of the role is to support NPI project industrialisation on site, lead or support others to deliver CAPEX projects on time and within budget, support problem solving and TPM events to improve production efficiency and be a go to point of contact for engineering support
• Be the manufacturing engineering support for NPI projects having specific ProLaunch tasks assigned
• Lead and support others to deliver CAPEX projects, this could be smaller projects like purchasing a 3D printer through to buying a fully automated assembly machine with integrated testers
• Be responsible for all factory layout changes maintaining an up to date layout in CAD
• Participate or lead CI events such as TPM and problem solving and provide manufacturing engineering knowledge to solve problems and drive efficiency
• Design new jigs and fixtures to improve ergonomics and increase productivity
• Support machine guarding and electrical tester remediation tasks
• Support and develop multi axis ABB robot programming especially on the UAC cell optimising efficiency

To be considered for the Manufacturing Engineer role you will need:

• Minimum HND ideally BEng in Engineering/Manufacturing
• At least 3 years of on-the-job experience, having electrical knowledge would be an advantage 
• Previous experience in leading CAPEX budgets up to and in excess of £500,000 
• Proficient AutoCAD Inventor user
