Requirements:
Mechanical/Plumbing Qualifications needed consist of the below -
* NVQ Mechanical/Plumbing Level 3.
* City & Guilds level 3 Mechanical.
* City & Guilds in Plumbing.
* JIB Gold Card - Desired

About the role: We are looking to take on board a strong Mobile Mechanical Engineer to be based on a mobile contract covering Northwest London. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Engineer to carry out duties to the highest standard. There is a succession plan for this role meaning they will be looking to progressing you.
* The purpose of our Engineering Technician (Mech) role is to support the Area Facilities Manager providing a reactive and planned preventative maintenance service to building engineering systems and services at various sites in accordance with laid down procedures and safe working practices.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure that routine PPM is carried out to all plant in accordance with Site task schedules and asset lists.
* Ensure that reactive tasks throughout the sites are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made.
* Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to always maintain plant in serviceable order.
* Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works. To provide parts lists and estimated timescales to carry out remedial works.
* Ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed regarding PPM, reactive and breakdown works and that it is passed without delay to the contract Administrator
* Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared and used for all tasks undertaken to always ensure safe working practices.
* Ensure the provision of a Safe and Healthy working environment.
* Ensure the professional image of is presented to clients at all times
* Ensure up to date plant logs are always kept
* Supervising and monitoring of sub-contractors works whilst they are on site undertaking maintenance.
Candidate requirements:
* Essential qualifications are: -
* Must hold a City and Guilds level 3 technical certificate or equivalent in an mechanical/plumbing discipline.
