We are seeking an Enthusiastic and professional individual for our Nightclub Host position in our front of house team at The Arts Club.

Located in the heart of Mayfair, The Arts Club is one of London’s oldest private members’ clubs – celebrating its’ 160 anniversary this year – and home to a community of members with a passion for the creative arts, literature, and business. From distinguished art exhibitions to fine dining, live music, and an exceptional programme of events for members, the club remains at the heart of contemporary cultural life in London.

About the role:

Our Reception team are the ‘voice’ of the Club; providing excellent, warm and friendly service to our members and their guests. Ensuring strong member recognition at all times is crucial and to work with the rest of the team to uphold current booking policies plus the Club rules and by-laws.

In a nutshell: 

  • Deliver excellent customer service at all times
  • Collaborate with the receptionist/reservations team and deal with all enquiries in a professional and courteous manner on the telephone, e-mail and whilst on the reception desk. To answer the telephone, screen and direct calls in accordance to the departments standard
  • Take and relay messages with warmth and efficiency
  • Host and escort members to their reserved tables throughout the Club
  • Answer all incoming reservations calls and maximising covers at all time
  • Divert calls, answer emails, confirm reservations
  • To be familiar with function sheets for the FOH and reception
  • To be familiar with cancellations and no-shows in line with company policy
  • Keep up to date with current music programme, art and members events to provide information to members, while maximizing booking opportunities
  • Fulfil all reasonable requests from members to ensure their comfort and satisfaction
