OPERATIONS DIRECTOR / ELDERLY - YORKSHIRE WITH TRAVEL ACROSS THE NORTH
COMMUTABLE FROM M62 CORRIDOR, DERBYSHIRE, SOUTH YORKSHIRE, NORTH YORKSHIRE, WEST YORKSHIRE & SURROUNDING AREAS
£85,000 - PLUS COMPANY CAR & BENEFITS
Are you an established Operations Director looking to work alongside the Managing Director to provide excellent leadership and guidance to your Senior Management Team and Home Managers? This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic Operations Director to join a well-established private care provider in the North.
Ideal location would be Yorkshire with easy access to the M62 corridor in order to travel to the homes within the group. This is also commutable from Derbyshire, West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, Manchester.
Responsible for
You will work alongside the Managing Director and CEO with an aligned vision for the group and you will help towards the achievement of company objectives. You will be involved in all aspects of the business including line management, Finances & Budgets, Business plans to reduce agency, increase occupancy etc. handling and safeguarding concerns, relationships with internal and external agencies and governing bodies.
You will require
Worked at an Operations level within care homes for older people both nursing and residential is essential. You will be capable of building effective relationships and creating a trusting working environment. You will be able to make difficult decisions where necessary. I am looking for someone with a strong business background. You will need the following:

  • Management qualification or evidence of continued professional development
  • Must have worked within the care home environment for Older Persons Nursing and/or residential care homes for older persons at a senior level
  • Experienced Regional Director or Regional Manager- will consider someone looking to develop who is ready for the next step
  • Background in Budget Management & Securing Contracts
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Commercial and business acumen essential
