Outreach Engagement Advisor

Salary - starting at £26,500

Contract - Permanent, Full time

Location - Rochdale

We are pleased to be able to offer some new opportunities on the Work and Health Programme and are looking for an Outreach Engagement Advisor to join the team. This role is key in engaging with stakeholders to champion integration in each Local Authority borough. You will work closely with your Local Authority, JobCentre Plus (JCP) and voluntary/ 3rd sector services to drive referrals to the programme.

As an Outreach Engagement Advisor you will be:

  • Involved in client contact through engagement events to promote the programme.
  • Liaising regularly with JCP Work Coaches and other referral agents (External Local Signposting Organisations)
  • Integrating with local community and health organisations to drive referrals.
  • Facilitating welcome sessions for new participants, organising job fairs and local events to drive both referrals and job outcomes.
  • Providing feedback to JCP colleagues to demonstrate 'good news stories' of progression and/or sustained outcomes.
  • Brokering and managing relationships with the wider services which interact with our participants, including offender management, housing, skills and Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) providers which will provide the required support to our participants and ensure greater levels of cohesion between services.
  • Responsible for creating an ecosystem of wrap around support to meet individual participant needs.

As an Outreach Engagement Advisor you will have:

  • Excellent relationship management skills, strong ability to deliver communications through face to face and remote delivery.
  • The ability to travel across the specified areas.
  • A strong understanding of the employment services/welfare to work.
  • Experience working in a performance target driven environment.
