The Ideal Candidate:

  • Structured root cause problem-solving experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Line management experience, with leadership and staff development skills, preferably in a unionised environment.
  • Excellent communication and instructional skills.

Desirable but not essential qualifications include budgetary (P&L) capability, proficiency in time and project management, experience in cultural change, acquisition integration, new product introduction, and fleet maintenance/engineering contracts. A National Road Haulage CPC holder and thorough knowledge of transport legislation are advantageous.

Security Criteria:

  • Ability to pass a criminal record check, personal credit, and ID check.
  • A verifiable 10-year employment/unemployment/educational history.
  • Willingness to undergo airport-style searches at our premises.
  • Comfort working in a secure and confined environment.
