We have an exciting opportunity for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our Housekeeping team on a part-time basis. This role is a based in our Consulting Houses in Central London (W1G 6BW). We are also offering a competitive salary of £15,746 per annum plus a fantastic array of benefits.

Job Profile

The Housekeeping Supervisor will supervise the activities of Housekeeping Assistants and Porters, and to train and develop their skills and knowledge of their work to ensure patient rooms, medical units, clinical and public areas throughout the London Clinic are cleaned and maintained to the high standards specified within Hotel Services.

  • Job Type: This is a part-time, permanent position working 20 hours per week.
  • Contract: 6pm to 10pm, 5 days out of 7 including weekends.
  • Salary: £15,746 per annum
  • Location: 20 Devonshire Place, London, W1G 6BW (Baker Street and Regents Park stations)
  • To cover consulting room Evening Supervisor's duties and supervise Housekeeping Staff that are working in consulting rooms and admin building as required.
  • To supervise the activities of Housekeeping Assistants and Porters, and to train and develop their skills and knowledge of their work.
  • To be available to work around the clinic in any of the buildings and available to carry out any reasonable duties and instructions given to you by the Housekeeping Manager or Deputy Housekeeping Manager in any of the Clinic properties.

Skills & Experience

  • NVQ Level 3 supervisory skills is mandatory. Candidates who do not possess this qualification must enrol on our internal NVQ Programme after the 3-month probation period.
  • To have broad experience within the cleaning sector, preferably in a supervisory position.
  • To have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
