Job Description

Your Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Senior Pastry Chef to ensure smooth operation of the pastry department.
Assist in the preparation, cooking, and plating of high-quality pastries.
Support the management of the pastry station, ensuring efficiency and organisation.
Contribute to training and mentoring junior pastry staff, sharing expertise.
Maintain impeccable hygiene standards, enforcing best practices in the kitchen.
Work closely with the Senior Pastry Chef to monitor food quality and presentation.
Assist in inventory management, minimising food waste while maintaining supplies.
Stay updated on culinary trends and innovations, adapting to new techniques and recipes.

What We are Looking For:

Previous experience in a pastry role, preferably as an Assistant Pastry Chef or in a similar capacity.
Knowledge of pastry techniques, equipment, and hygiene standards.
Ability to work collaboratively in a high-paced culinary environment.
Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
Passion for creating high-quality pastries and desserts.
Willingness to learn and adapt to the Senior Pastry Chef's leadership.
