Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a market leading manufacturing business, who are specialists within the FMCG sector, on a Senior Project Engineer position,
This role will be a leadership position planning, executing and leading specific capital expenditure projects focused on improving the efficiency and delivery of business critical manufacturing on site. This position provides an excellent opportunity for a senior project engineer or established manager looking to drive forward an exciting in house project portfolio, whilst significantly contributing to further projects enhancing production lines, automation, new machinery and more.
Senior Project Engineer key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Efficiently develop, design and install improved manufacturing lines on site
- Support CAPEX delivery 'in house' cradle to grave including responsibility for budgets
- Throughout the lifecycle of key projects, ensure adherence to Health & Safety guidelines and commute any key risks to relevant stakeholders
- Management of the associated capital
expenditure approval process and adherence to the approved spend and timescales
- Managing internal and external resource to ensure project activities are completed on
time, to budget and the required specification
- Utilise lean tools to remove inefficiencies and identify bottlenecks within particular processes/machinery
We would be interested in speaking to Senior Project Engineer's with the following academics and skillsets:
- Engineering Qualification, Degree level, BTC, HNC or ONC
- CAPEX experience
- Engineering experience within an FMCG environment (beneficial)
- Experience leading the delivery of several projects at once varying in scope and budget, preferably involving new machinery, production lines, robotics, and site improvements
- Lean / Continuous Improvement experience in a challenging manufacturing site
