Options Resourcing have teamed up with a market leader in the UK's specialized facades, drylining, and recladding sectors, they are seeking a Quantity Surveyor with major experience in the façade sector.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the in-house design department to assess material costs and fabrication expenses related to complex building facades.
- Provide expert technical advice to clients on cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Analyse and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring optimal pricing and quality.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and expenditures, providing regular reports to management.
- Work closely with project teams to assess and manage potential risks and variations in project scope.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the facade or construction industry.
- Strong understanding of facade components such as Rainscreen Cladding, Curtain Walling, and Windows.
- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with facade design, fabrication, and installation processes.
