Job Description

£36000.00 - £40000.00 per annum plus bonus

Gaucho is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Reception Manager to join one of our Gaucho Piccadilly team! The ideal Reception Manager candidate will be someone with previous Head Receptionist experience, and experience managing a team. They will be passionate and want to grow within a busy, high-end environment. They will demonstrate personality and warmth towards guests, and be a Gaucho ambassador.

Key responsibilities of the Reception Manager

Inspire and develop the reception team; act as a role model to all new employees, by showing a positive approach to team spirits through excellent team support and positive communication.
Ensure the cycle of service is adopted and practised at all times
Ensure that the proper development plan for every team member is in place, to promote and maintain Gaucho’s training culture (e.g. Certification, post-LAB training, cross-training in other departments)
Responsible for personal development that is relevant to the role
Schedule and conduct all receptionist appraisals
Coach, mentor and delegate the head receptionist to build the team
Visit hotel concierges and maintain a strong relationship with each and liaise with business development to ensure there’s no overlap with the concierges
Support the running of concierge, PA and other marketing events with the marketing team (including business development and head of sales). Coach and develop the head receptionist in this area.
