Job Description

Our client is seeking a Receptionist to work at their Woking office. The role involves a 12-month initial contract, with the potential for extension or conversion to a permanent position.
 
Responsibilities:
Reception Duties:

  • Welcome clients and guests.
  • Handle incoming phone calls by answering, screening, and forwarding them.
  • Provide accurate information in person and via phone/email.
  • Maintain office security protocols, including monitoring the logbook and issuing visitor badges.
  • Keep the reception area tidy and well-presented, stocked with necessary stationery and materials.
  • Manage meeting rooms, ensuring they are set up for scheduled meetings.
  • Coordinate catering for meetings, including coffee/tea service and ordering lunches.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries.
  • Arrange courier collections as needed.
  • Handle taxi bookings.
  • Manage stationery supplies.
  • Oversee PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) stock and orders.
  • Organize fruit and milk purchases for the office.
 
Admin Assistant Duties:
  • Assist with staff onboarding (IT kit setup, access passes, system access).
  • Handle new supplier requests.
  • Coordinate staff collections and cards.
  • Arrange lunches and beverages for meetings.
  • Book travel and accommodation through the corporate travel company.
  • Format CVs according to company standards.
  • Support new start inductions.
  • Assist with clearing out and archiving old paperwork to maintain an agile and clear desk environment.
  • Maintain a log of staff parking allocations.
