Job Description

We are actively looking for a Renewables Supervisor to join one of our key clients focussing on Solar PV & renewable installs on a permanent basis. You must be able to commute to either Stoke and have prior experience in the renewables industry as well as running a small team of engineers. This would be a great opportunity for an experienced engineer with a passion for the growing renewables industry.

You will be supervising a team of 4 installation engineers working on solar PV systems, ground and air source heat pumps and EV charging points.

Renewables Supervisor duties and responsibilities:

• Supervising a team of renewable installation engineers
• Supervising PV installation projects (domestic, one offs, and commercial)
• Supervising ground and air source heat pumps as well as EV charging point projects.
• Accountable for financial targets, KPI's, budgets and project time scales
• Producing and altering technical drawings
• Managing and organising labour and work requirements
• Site visits, quality checks and safety audits
• Pre-start surveying of all job types
• Producing documents such as RAMS, data sheets, programs, commissioning documents, log books, emergency processes, etc.

Qualifications and experience:

• You must have prior renewables experience
• Experience managing a small team and contracts
• Technical knowledge across solar PV systems, ground and air source heat pumps and EV charging points.
• Excellent computer and communication skills
• Electrical qualifications will be extremely beneficial
