What this role is all about: This is a fantastic new opportunity opening up in a brand new project focusing on our latest addition to our Journey model; Vitality For Business. You have a great chance to deliver a meaningful impact to a fresh approach that our Journey team are taking. The Requirements Engineer is responsible for understanding , translating and managing business requirements, utilising a variety of tools, techniques and expertise. You will be highly familiar with agile methodology for requirements engineering, to elicit, define, and analyse business processes through the end to end software delivery lifecycle. By analysing the business and system process, you will always challenge the status quo and be courageous in seeking out areas for automation or re-engineering. You will produce a variety of outputs including user Stories, Use Cases, with positive and negative outcome flows. Key Actions
Day to day, you will form part of a dedicated Scrum team, where this role will be a high contributor to each story and sprint increment.
Multi tasking is the norm for you, dynamically responding to team queries with clear focus on closing the sprint on time, whilst preparing for the sprint ahead.
Elicit, understand, define, document and manage all business and system requirements relating to a business and system change
Maintain a high level of business analysis and requirements analysis expertise, within the Agile Methodology and SAFe Scaled Agile Framework
Thoroughly follow relevant change management protocols, assuring requirements traceability and documentation across the end to end delivery lifecycle
Be responsible for performing detailed analysis for change initiatives during the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Document the scope of the requirements using context models, domain models or use case diagrams
Essential Skills needed to fulfil this role:
Practical and applied experience of Agile Methodology for Software Engineering
Experience working with stakeholders at all levels within an organisation
Has a close link to wider industry practices & the Business Analyst profession
Experience working within complex matrix management environment
Experience producing a range of analysis artefacts
Practical and applied experience of Agile Methodology for Software Engineering
Good understanding of business analysis approaches and methodologies
