Job Description

You will be working in a leading UK Port which handles dry bulks, forest products and renewable energy cargoes. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike, ensuring no unauthorised personnel enter the location, and monitoring the various sections of the port to ensure the smooth running of the site.

Your main responsibilities may include:

• Patrolling the site premises via car.
• Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit Points of the site.
• Confidently calling for help in emergency situations.
• Working in the gatehouse, effectively working the barriers and completing pass checks as well as building positive relations with visitors and staff.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

• Door supervisor or manned guarding SIA License.
• Manual drivers licence
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Experience in a similar role, would an advantage
• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
• Possess the ability to work under pressure.
