Senior Civil Engineer - Chester

 

Company: Multidisciplined Engineering Consultancy

 

Location: Chester

 

Salary:  £48,000 – Depends On Experience

 

About the Role

Join an enthusiastic civils team within a well-established engineering consultancy in Chester. As a Civil Design Engineer, you will contribute to significant warehouse logistics developments across the UK and several prestigious retirement village projects. Collaborate with industry experts and high-profile private and public-sector clients.

 

Team Size:

- Chester Office: 30 people

- Civils Team: 8 people

 

Key Responsibilities

Design and Drafting: Engineering design, drafts, and analysis of drainage and highways works for major projects.

- Reporting: Contributing to high-quality written reports on various projects.

Technical Data and Drawings: Preparing, presenting, and self-checking technical data and drawings.

Meetings: Attending site and project team meetings under the direction of a Senior Engineer or Associate.

Bids and Proposals: Contributing to writing bids and fee proposals.

Professional Development: Actively working towards Incorporated or Chartered Status.

-  CPD Participation: Participating in and presenting at Lunch and Learns and other CPD opportunities.

Requirements

Education: A degree in Civil Engineering.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ relevant design office experience.

Skills: Proficient in using AutoCAD to produce drainage or highways designs/drafts.
