We are looking for a full-time Senior Staff Nurse to work in the Intensive Care Unit of a leading private hospital in Central London. The role comes with a salary of up to £55,000 and a generous benefits package.

As a dedicated Senior Intensive Care Nurse, you will report directly to the ICU Manager and be responsible for planning and delivering appropriate care for admissions and discharges. You will also work closely with the consultants and ICU fellows regarding care delivery and acute decision-making.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Work to ensure that each patient's assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation are in line with evidence-based practice
• Quickly identify any issues or concerns and act accordingly
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and be competent in Venepuncture, Cannulation and Phlebotomy, carrying out these tasks daily
• Complete ad hoc duties assigned by your manager and support the manager, and deputise when required.

To apply for this nursing job, you must be a Registered RGN with an NMC PIN. You will also require experience working in intensive care with good assessment skills. In addition, you should have an ICU qualification and a minimum of 2 years of experience working at the Band 6 level.
