Job Description

Immediate contract for an experienced Senior Data Network Architect with knowledge of Genesys Cloud to work for a leading System Integrator on a cloud modernization programme for a large banking client. Manage Data and applications with On-Prem suites while transitioning to the Cloud, in particular Genesys Cloud CX technologies.
Principal Responsibilities

  • Determine business requirements and influence solutions towards the Infrastructure future state model.
  • Ensure logical design contributes to technology objectives while exploring potential demise opportunities and considering service placement requirements.
  • Additional responsibilities include managing the infrastructure services, vendor engagement, and product lifecycles.
  • Work with Solution Architects to optimise the portfolio of infrastructure services used, driving operational improvement & cost efficiencies for documenting the architecture & and designs which align with overall technical strategy to accelerate production roll-out.
  • Work with Product & Platform Owners, DevOps teams, Architecture functions and other key stakeholders including Cybersecurity to ensure appropriate products & and solutions are identified that can be used/consumed by the bank.
  • Accountable for ensuring compliance of the products and services with mandatory and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for all the solutions delivered.

Qualifications

  • A system engineering background with the ability to compare and contrast different solutions to meet a business requirement. Have conceptual functional and non-functional knowledge of some of the following areas:
  • Broad technical understanding of Genesys Cloud CX technologies
  • Hands-on experience leveraging omnichannel capabilities (IVR, Web Chat, Chatbot, Email) flows within Genesys Cloud Architect
  • Security technologies such as firewalls, HSMs, proxy servers, IDS/IPS, network segmentation tools
  • Networking (e.g. Cisco/F5 devices, TCP/UDP, Broadcast/Multicast, LAN/WAN, SDN)
  • WAN technologies like Routers, SD-WAN, MPLS, etc
  • LAN technologies like Switches, Wi-Fi, SDN, etc
  • Network Security - Firewall, IDS/IPS, DDoS, Proxy, SASE, etc
  • Network Services like DDI, Load Balancing, IP Address Management, etc
  • Network Tools like Monitoring (Links & devices), Device & Performance management, etc
  • Identity Access Management (e.g. Active Directory, LDAP, Privileged Access Management tools)
  • Cloud technologies such as Google GCP, Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure, as well as APIs, Kubernetes and the ecosystem. Knowledge and experience with Genesys Cloud CX
  • University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline or experience performing a similar role
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with different groups of stakeholders and external vendor
