Service Design Lead/Service Management- Network Refresh Programme
Our public sector client require a Service Design/Service Management Lead on a major network refresh programme.
The successful applicant will lead the Service Design and Service Management aspects of the project helping the client understand the implications of that type of service model and utilise the as-is to determine what the future looks like and lead them to finding a sustainable solution. They are working to establish a fit for purpose environment which is a network refresh for a major relocation.
A critical objective is the need to procure a network they can support going forward. You will need to utilise ITIL experience, procurement expertise and experience of leading on the requirements stage of a programme of this nature to lead on the Service Design and Service Management aspects that will help to them to understand the type of platform that they need and also the implications of that type of service model, utilising the as-is to determine what the future looks like with the eventual aim to find a sustainable solution.
Understanding of how different network architectures and technologies work, and how they can affect the performance, security, and scalability of the services they design. To evaluate the benefits and challenges of using SaSE / SD-WAN based networks for their services, and design solutions that meet the needs of the organisation.
Expertise in gathering and analysing the requirements of the stakeholders and the customers for the services they design, and in leading the procurement process for the resources and conduct effective requirements gathering techniques, such as interviews, workshops, surveys, prototyping, and focus groups, and lead the procurement process.
