About the role


As a Service Owner you will report directly into the Delivery Manager. As part of the role, you will be responsible for providing service roadmaps and managing domain operations so that services that make up the Business and Fulfilment domain within the Technology department are available, optimised and maintained.



Some of the services you will be working on include:


SAP, D365 FSCM (Finance), Azure Integration Services, Dynamics CE, the diverse range of fulfilment systems that orchestrate and deliver products to our customers. Although no prior knowledge of services is necessary to be suitable for role.



You will also:


  • Provide analysis, prioritisation, and scoping of the maintenance backlog/roadmap so that delivery manager and team leads can plan effectively for maintenance activity.

  • Manage and improve services to ensure operational level agreements are achieved.



  • Negotiate, create and report on Service/operational Level Agreements for key services to support the business to achieve its goals.

  • Working with external IT supplies to ensure service is functioning as required.

  • Facilitate the controlled change of systems and services with colleagues within the domain.

  • Lead incident resolution and provide updates to stakeholders regarding service issues.

  • Incident and problem management processes

  • Excellent communication skills

  • ITIL4 Foundation certification (desirable)

  • Salary - £ 37,511 - £ 44,130

  • Performance related bonus

  • 25 days annual leave - (rising by 1 day each year to 30 days after five years) bank holidays and an extra 3 days over Christmas

Location


We embrace a hybrid working model at OS and understand there is no one size fits all in relation to how we work. We have a fantastic HQ in Southampton, Hampshire from where you may choose to work or spend more time at OSHQ.



Security


OS conducts DBS background checks for all joiners and some of our roles require additional security clearance, including to SC or DV level in some cases. We will tell candidates at the appropriate time during the recruitment process if additional clearance will be required for this role.
