A South London borough council is recruiting for a scheme manager for one of their supported housing services in Lambeth to provide exceptional housing-related support to promote the health, safety, wellbeing, and independence of service users. This role involves significant interaction with service users and scheme visitors, requiring a professional, courteous, and sensitive approach to foster trust and confidence in our service.
The Role
The focus of this Scheme Manager role is provide a housing management and tenancy sustainment service to residents. This will include the following tasks and responsibilities:
The Candidate
To be considered for this Scheme Manager role, you will need prior experience in housing management, as well as the below:
You will require an enhanced DBS for this role, due to the vulnerable nature of the residents you will be working with.
The Contract
This is a full time Scheme Manager role, working 35 hours per week, flexible between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00
The role will initially run until the end of September 2024 but has potential to be extended or even made permanent, as it is covering the recruitment process for a permanent role.
