Job Description

The purpose of this role is to provide site engineering duties to a Project on a waste water site in the Nottingham area. Works involve deep drainage, pipelines, reinforced concrete and groundworks.

Main Responsibilities:

Attending site meetings with the construction and design teams
Reporting progress on site to senior management
Setting out, levelling and surveying the site
Checking plans, drawings and setting out co ordination
Allocation sheets, ITP's.
Quality Assurance.
Preparing reports as required for the site manager and project manager
Having a proactive approach to resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise

Candidate Specification

HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering / Building
CSCS
SMSTS
Good knowledge & experience of AutoCAD
Setting-Out
Previous use of Total station and GPS
Able to work well both within a team & independently
