The role

Are you currently a DEA Assessor looking to take the next step into Stock Condition Surveying? If so, we would welcome an application as training and support can be provided. 

This role is part of Customer & Communities where you'll help us to lead the way keeping our promise to more than 100,000 customers. This role will look after the Kent & East Sussex areas.

What you'll achieve

  • Manage Stock Condition Surveys by assessing the condition and life expectancy of the attributes based on a conditional maintenance approach
  • Carry out dynamic Housing Health and Safety Rating System assessments
  • Liaise with the Repairs and Property Management teams to report any repairs
  • Carry out EPC Surveys to ensure that we are able to meet our target of EPC band C by 2030.
  • Advise the Carbon and Operations teams following a site survey
  • Undertake additional training and development around PAS2035, RdSAP and other relevant development
  • Work to ensure that we meet our statutory requirements such as Decent Homes or HHSRS
  • Utilise your condition surveys and knowledge to inform strategic investment decisions

What you'll bring

Essential skills

  • Educated to HNC, NVQ3 or higher in a property related subject or a relevant professional qualification
  • Relevant industry experience performing stock condition surveys, attributes and lifecycles
  • Knowledge of environmental and property legislation

Desirable skills

  • PAS2035 knowledge (ideally qualified)
  • Experience of delivering EPC surveys and be DEA assessor qualified.  Training can be provided
