Job Description

Primary School KS2 Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Shrewsbury
Are you an experienced HLTA looking for a full-time role in Shrewsbury? I am looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic HLTA to join Aspire People to work Monday - Friday covering across Key Stage 2, supporting all class teachers and Tas to provide a positive and stimulating environment. This role is to start ASAP up until July with an opportunity for a permanent position.
Responsibilities:
* Leading small group sessions to support students in their learning and development.
* Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons.
* Providing one-on-one support to students with additional learning needs.
* Contributing to the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
* Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
* Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support

Requirements:
* Relevant qualifications and experience as a HLTA.
* Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and educational standards.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Dedication to promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
* A commitment to professional development and ongoing learning.
