Job Description

We are looking for a Theatre Scrub Practitioner to join a collaborative theatre team in a Bristol Based Hospital. This full-time role comes with a salary of up to £50,000 and many excellent benefits and also the opportunity to get your Surgical First Assistant Qualification.

As a Theatre Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of the operating theatre team. Accepting applications from both ODPs and Theatre Nurses with either Scrub or Anaesthetics training.

During your first few weeks in this Theatre Practitioner - Scrub role, you can expect to work on some of the following:

  • Working with the multi-disciplinary Theatre team to assess, implement and evaluate effective care.
  • The post holder will be a skilled member of the Operating Theatre team providing the highest standard of care and always ensuring patient safety.
  • This role will work closely with the Theatre team in carrying out all relevant forms of care and ensuring patient documentation and safety measures are carried out in accordance with guidelines.

We are looking for an NMC Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered Operating Department Practitioner. You will also require minimum 1 year experience working as a Theatre Practitioner within the UK.

As a vital member of the team, and in return for your expertise, you can expect to receive a salary of up to £50,000 and the chance to join a passionate and welcoming team as well as become a qualified SFA.
