Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with an established business based in Leeds, who are looking to expand their finance team with the addition of a Treasury Assistant on a full time, permanent basis.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Download bank statements on a daily basis
Analyse and categorise bank statement transactions
Ensure all unreconciled items are investigated and resolved within SLA
Root cause analysis undertaken to understand issues
Perform debt purchase and third-party collection bank reconciliations
Work with relevant stakeholders and build relationships with internal stakeholders
Maintaining an appropriate control environment inc. compliance and risk
Experience Needed:
A working knowledge of accounting double-entry and reconciliation processes and platforms is desirable
An ability to interrogate / analyse large data set
High Attention to detail
Previous reconciliation experience essential
Intermediate / Advanced excel skills
Previous Oracle / ERP experience desirable
Highly organised – able to prioritise and deliver to deadlines
