We're on the lookout for a Warehouse Operative to join our well-established client based in the Oxford area with an immediate start on a temporary to permanent position

About the role:

To ensure that all stocks received are checked against the relevant documentation then decanted, if required, and located into the FG (Finished Goods) Warehouse using the designated scanner. To pick and pick customer orders ready for dispatch.

A successful candidate is likely to have:

 

  • Warehouse Experience
  • Counter Balance Licence

The details:

The role is responsible for the processing of Li-ion cells for internal and external projects. The tasks include:

  • Actioning receipts as delegated by the Deputy Operations Manager and ensuring that all paperwork is passed to the warehouse office for input to the Expert5.0 system.
  • Linking pallet cards with stock and decanting where necessary before scanning into location.
  • Picking and packing parts for non-BMW Oxford customers into the appropriate container with the required labels specific to that customer.
  • Cover BMW picking as and when required.
  • Maintain and work to Customer Specific Requirements for reporting Key Performance Indicators’'.
  • To serve as a focal point to communicate, resolve interface and integration issues with other teams and customers. The completion of MHE Pre-operational check sheets.
  • Liaising with internal & external customers.
  • Maintaining all expected levels of housekeeping in line with our policy.

Working Hours:

Standard 37.5 hours per week. Mon – Fri

Salary £27,000
